Ceramics Creations - NEW!
Have a blast learning how to turn clay into wonderful creatures and other fun projects. We will hand build the pieces as we learn techniques such as coiling, scoring and slab, and decorate them with under glazes.

Classes consist of painting self-portraits with acrylics, collage using several materials, painting the environment and more.  Prior to each class, the students are given a handout describing the new artist terms they will use as they pertain to the subject matter.  The students learn such terms as perspective, vanishing point, the illusion of depth, space and how to connect with the various medium. In closing, we have a critique and everyone shares their work while telling a story.

This class is for beginning to intermediate students. Learn to create beautiful paintings using a step-by-step process that includes color mixing, how to hold your paintbrush and apply paint, creating dynamic compositions and much more. Even if you are an experienced oil painter, Kim's class will take your work to the next level. During class you will work from both photographs and life. Painting demonstrations by Kim are included so that you will see each lesson in action. Class size is limited so that you will receive plenty of personal instruction.
